Tutoring

Continuing Education offers private, professional tutoring in the following subject areas:

• Algebra
• English/Reading Comprehension
• Foreign language
• Geometry
• Standardized test preparation
• Trigonometry

All tutors hold a minimum of a bachelor's degree and are selected for their knowledge and sensitivity to individual needs. Tutoring sessions take place in a public location.

Standardized test preparation Tutoring
Prepare for the ACT, PSAT/NMSTQT and SAT exam in a way that best suits your individual needs. Practice under simulated testing conditions and concentrate on specific subject areas of your choosing.

Private Computer Tutoring
Receive customized, one-on-one tutoring in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel or Access.

Three hours—$209

Youth Test Preparation Classes

Gain an extra edge when taking the ACT or SAT by enrolling in a test preparation class. Our Weekend Intensive Test Preparation Courses are scheduled close to the weekend of the ACT/SAT Examination!

ACT Weekend Intensive
This crash course provides students with strategies to prepare for the ACT. Test taking skills are emphasized with a brief overview of the math, science reasoning, reading and English usage. Bring a sack lunch. The textbook is provided.

Advanced SAT Intensive
This series jumps ahead of the basic sections of the SAT
Cambridge textbook and picks-up on the intermediate
portion of the exam. Students will learn strategies to
prepare for the test. Test taking skills are emphasized,
with overviews in math, reading and English usage.

Test Preparation for Adults


ACT and SAT for Adults

Adults seeking assistance for the ACT/SAT exam are encouraged to register for standardized test prep tutoring. Tutoring is available for four hours at $325 or six hours at $399.

GRE, GMAT and LSAT

Test preparation for adults is available for these exams. Please visit the website for details.
